As I am sure that you will be aware, our Sixth Form Centre focus now moves to the external WJEC A level examinations which begin on Monday 3rd June.
Learners should have received a personalised report detailing their examination times and dates. They will also receive information shortly, regarding any clashes and seating arrangements, and the procedures put in place. This has been provided as both a printed and emailed form.
The final A level examinations are scheduled for Tuesday 18th June, but please note that students should be available until Wednesday 26th June as this is the final contingency day as identified by the WJEC.
Year 13 study leave will therefore begin on Friday 24th May and, from this date, learners will only be expected to attend school for their examinations, unless study sessions are agreed and arranged with their subject tutors. As such, the Year 13 leaver’s assembly, for all current learners, will be held on their last day, Friday 24th May, from 1pm in the Drama Studio.
Our prom will be held on Friday 28th June and all information remains as previously shared with you. Please ensure all payments have been made via Parent Pay.
Students will be able to collect their A level results on Thursday 15th August, from 8.30am, in the annexe at the front of the school.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all learners the best of luck for the summer examinations and every success for their future, wherever their journey may take them.
